Owlog ("the app", "we") is a personal trading journal published on the Apple App Store. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it is stored, and what your rights are.

1. Data we collect

Owlog stores only the data you enter into the app:

• Account names, balances and currencies
• Asset classes you select
• Trade records, notes, tags, links and screenshots
• Calculator preferences
• Language and appearance settings
• (Optional) The email Apple shares with you when you choose Sign in with Apple

We do not collect:

• Analytics events
• Crash reports through third-party SDKs
• Device identifiers for advertising (IDFA)
• Location data
• Contacts, calendar or health data

2. Where your data is stored

All data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.

If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, Owlog writes a snapshot file to your personal iCloud Documents container so your data is available across the Apple devices signed in to your Apple ID. This sync is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have server-side access to your iCloud data.
